A talented, innovative, and creative attorney, Kevin J. Williams joined our firm in May 2002 after accruing experience in medical malpractice, construction, automobile liability, and premises liability litigation as a defense attorney, a training ground that provides invaluable insight and experience. Kevin's current focus consists of medical malpractice and catastrophic personal injury cases, including birth trauma involving injuries to newborn infants, failure to diagnose serious conditions and diseases, and improper administration of medications, structure collapses, and commercial motor vehicle accidents. A native of Philadelphia and a graduate of Duke University, Kevin earned his law degree from Wake Forest University in 1996. He is active in a variety of professional organizations, including the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers, professional negligence section; the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, and the Chief Justice Joseph Branch Inn of Court. Kevin is particularly active in the Forsyth County Bar's Young Lawyers Division (YLD). As a past Board Member of this association, Kevin spearheaded the development of a Continuing Legal Education course entitled Ethics, Professionalism and Advice for the New Attorney. The course was designed to acclimate new attorneys to the practice of law and to provide a valuable refresher to more experienced jurists. Currently, he serves as the YLD's treasurer. Kevin has been admitted to practice in all North Carolina federal district and state courts, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
